The Vindhyachal Temple is considered one of the Shakti Peeths and is believed to be a highly sacred place for Hindus. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Maa Vindhyavasini Devi, a form of Goddess Maa Durga.

Goddess Vindhyavasini is a form of Goddess Maa Durga and is the presiding deity of the Vindhyachal Temple located in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh, India. A powerful goddess and is worshipped for her strength, courage, and protection. It is believed that by worshipping Goddess Maa Vindhyavasini, one can attain success, wealth, and prosperity in life. The word “Vindhyavasini” is derived from the word “Vindhyachal,” which means the presence of the Vindhyas mountain range. The Vindhyachal Temple is open from morning 5:00 am to late evening 10:00 pm every day.

Aarti timings vary depending on the day and the season. Generally, there are four aartis performed daily at the Vindhyachal Mandir

– early morning, afternoon, evening & late evening.
The early morning aarti starts at around 5:30 am or 6:00 am and is called the “Mangla Aarti”.
The afternoon aarti is performed at around 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm and is called the Madhyaana Aarti or Rajshree Aarti.
The evening aarti is performed after sunset and is called the Choti Aarti or Sandhya Aarti. The timing for the Sandhya Aarti may vary depending on the season and is usually around 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm.
The Night or Late evening aarti is performed at around 9:30 pm or 10:30 pm and is called the Badi Shayan Aarti.

During the Navratri festival, the Aarti timings at Vindhyachal Temple are different from regular days. During the Navratri festival, four Aartis are performed daily at the temple – morning, noon, evening, and night. The Aarti timings for Navratri are as follows:

1. Mangla Aarti – The morning Aarti starts at around 4:00 am.
2. Madhyaana Aarti – The noon Aarti starts at around 12:30 pm.
3. Sandhya Aarti – The evening Aarti starts at around 7:00 pm.
4. Shayan Aarti – The night Aarti starts at around 10:30 pm.
